So, Medan Gopeng in the morning.. Headed there around 8:15am.. Got to Kelana Jaya around... 11am, 12pm.. First day of holidays.. We were bound to be late.. Had Nicholas register for us..

From Kelana Jaya LRT station alllll theee waaayy to Wangsa Maju LRT station... Sightseeing for only RM2.50 :D

Took a cab to the venue.. Only 6 bucks.. Not bad.. I think.. I don't know..

Waited for Nicholas for quite a while.. That bastard..

Got in.. Started cyphering.. And then I hurt my left wrist... Most regretful thing I did.. Cause' it hurts...

And then.. Came the time to battle... With.. Energy Crew of China! Best part is, we didn't know who they were.. Until the MCs were saying "Energy Crew, China!".. Dammit.. I was like.. "Fuck YESSSS!" I ain't gonna be battling some weak ass crew.. Then Chris and Nicholas got all nervous and shit.. I don't blame Nicholas.. He was battling for the first time.. But Chris..... tsk tsk tsk.. Such a disappointment..... Hahaha! Nah, I'm just joking.. [If you're reading this, you know I love you;)]

But, seriously yo.. Mad fun.. I gave it my all.. Motivated to train more.. But, unfortunately.. I fucked my wrist up.. Anyways...

Bus to the hotel at night.. Goddamn, it took so fucking long.. We thought our hotel was nearby, but ended up, we were staying in Selayang.. I have no idea where the fuck that is... The one nearby was for foreign bboys??? Wtf?

The hotel was not bad actually.. Nice bed, nice shower, nice tv, nice air-cond, nice table.. You know what, I kinda wished that room was my room.. Like.. My room at home..

So, woke up the next morning.. Took a cab to the nearest LRT station.. Had no idea where.. Seemed to be Gombak, I think.. And we were headed to Kelana Jaya... And that is... My friends.. From 1 end of the LRT to the other...... Shiiiiiiiiiieeeetttttt!

Got there, went to the mamak.. Waited for a while.. With Russell complaining about how we should've slept longer and shit..

Bus came, boarded, headed back to Ipoh.. Of course, I had to take a little detour before heading home..

There was.. Someone I had to see.

Lend a hand to Japan

A very stupid event.. I think some of my brain cells died when I went there... Telling me we can't perform because their schedule too packed.. 5 minutes performance won't do shit to your shit schedule la.... Some people are just dumb..

It was opposite PGS btw.. This big ass hall..

Anyway.. Me and Chris collaborated with some SMI fellas for a performance.. Coz.. Well.... We were bored.. :S



Also.. I wingman-ed for someone.. For the very first time.. I got a number from a girl.. For a friend.. Coz' this friend.. Apparently, has no balls ;)

SMC IU Day.. 24th April

Best fucking performance I have ever done... Did the best webster(front flip) ever! We danced, and the crowd went crazy! I know I sound arrogant.. And I don't care! >:D

It was fun, y'know.. Performing for a crowd that appreciates it.. Knowing the crowd is entertained while you are on the stage, entertaining..





And then I was told we had to pay at least 5 bucks if we wanted to eat there... Well, now we know who's not feeling appreciative or grateful.. :S I'm not mad.. They're kids.. They don't know how to be grateful.. Ah well..

Rather spend 13 bucks in Parade food court eating western food.. Which I did.. And then went back to SMC to watch a performance of biting.. And then sat outside because... It was too damn stuffy inside.. And boring..

And after that.. Headed to Parade, meet up with Lynn, Alex and Kish.. And 1 more girl whose name I have got no clue on.. (I'm sorry :S) Just chilling at Marry Brown.. And then we went our separate ways..

And after THAT.. Met up with Chin, lepak, lepak.. And damn, those "Oreo Crush" drinks are fucking addictive.. Anywyas.. We went to Digi Live Tour, Sekolahku Berbakat audition after Parade.. Fucking boring.. Coz' we went there late.. Oh, and Natural was there..

Sent Chin home and I went home and that was it..

A rather long day.. A fun one though.. Because.. I did the most epic flip I have ever done.. >:D

Craziest trip I've had. BITBTS (Muar Bboy Jam, Bboy Bounce Workshop)

I'm gonna make this post look like a journal..

17th March: Start of trip.

Left for Malacca in the afternoon... Met a stranger.. He claims that he's a hiking trainer... Interesting guy... Paid for my dinner and got me a cheap cab to where I'm headed... Anyways.. Met up with Fu in Mahkota Parade around 10... Fucked around... And then went and dance... On grass... Till 1am.. Slept in a hostel.. Nasty..

18th March: Adventure.

Woke up.. Cold shower.. Headed to Melaka Sentral by bus.. Got lunch.. Took a bus to Muar.. Met with some bboys from Malacca.. So... One big group.. Looking for the venue.. Reached the venue... And it was fucking crazy... Bboys from all over the fucking world.. Alot of bboys and bgirls... Aunties and uncles.. And kids.. And the cyphers began..

After the jam.. Went looking for a shitty hotel.. Then dinner... Then chill.. Then sleep..

19th March: Exploration.

Went to the bus station to get tickets.. Then.. We fucked around town... No cyber cafes.. Barely any shopping malls... Muar is very awesome... Lots of entertainment.... Anyways.. Met up with Hao.. Coincidence.. Then McD.. For like.. 2 hours... And we headed to the jam.. Bought a little pendant thingie from Bboy Bojin..

During the jam.. This time.. More locals... These locals.. Very irritating.. Blocking view... But they came to support their local dance scene.. Which is good.... Or probably because there's nothing to do at all... Battles were crazy... We had to leave early.. Unfortunately.... Latest bus is at 9:30pm..

Headed back to Malacca... Slept at Fu's house..

20th March: Bboy Bounce's workshop

Headed to Melaka Sentral.. Then I was at the wrong bus.. As in.. Wrong time.. And the fucking bus driver pushed me.... That son of a bitch.. Anyways.. Took the bus to KL.. Reached at TBS.. I was like... "Where the fuck am I?".. So, took some coach thnigie to KL Central.. McD for lunch.. -.-

After that.. LRT to Kelana Jaya... And then bus to Kota Damansara... Funny story.. Last time.. I was late by 30 minutes.. This time.. I was early by 2 hours.... So.. Lepak... End up chilling with some bboy named Kenny.. Below the studio... For about an hour...

So, he went up.. I was still downstairs... And when Bboys Bounce, Profo and Blanka came... Fuck, they look like gangsters... Buffed and walking with that swag.. Bounce, looking at me... Said.. "What's up.." and I'm like... "Uh.. Hey.." :S

So, workshop starts.. I was friggin' tired from moving from one state to another state every 24 hours or less...

After the workshop.. I.. Didn't want to leave.. So, was chilling with a Blanka, Profo and Bounce.. And a few others from the studio.. Man.. They were dropping knowledge...

21st March: End of trip.

Took a bus back to Ipoh.. And that's the end of my very hardcore trip.. :)

Heel-A-Thon

It's about GUYS and girls wearing heels and walking around.. That's right.. I said guys..

Anyways.. I got hired for a performance.. 2 actually.. And when I say "I".. I meant we.. The crew.. Drove from Meru all the way to G.Rapat to fetch Yi Qin.. Drove to Ipoh Garden to meet up.. Then to Sunway... It started with.. A girl.. Calling us.. The Leon Dancers.... And then we headed to the "dressing room".. It says there.. "Leon Dance"...

Bla bla bla.. We performed.. Stage was lousy.. Carpet moves around.. Bouncy floors.. Food was provided... Payment was made... so, it's all good... :)

Not something stupid like.. "Your payment is food.." o0o

Skoolz of Breakin'. Profo Won/Ynot

The workshop was pretty good.. No doubt.. But the trip.. It was ok.. I mean.. We got lost.. The train was delayed.. And the dancing was just... Not enough.. Not hardcore enough... So.. Anyways..

The train left at 1:45pm.. Saturday.. Reached KL Central at 4:40.. We then took the LRT to Kelana Jaya and then a bus to Kota Damansara.. We missed our stop.. Just by a bit.. And so we walked.. And walked.. Missed our "stop".. AGAIN! When we realised that, we found the studio, of course.. Royal Phantom Studio.. Reached, register and workshop started right after.. I was fuckin' hungry...

They taught mainly concepts.. About grooving and rocking.. How it started.. It didn't start out as battles and cyphers.. Bboying started out as a party.. People would be rocking to the beats.. And that's how it was back then.. The rest is pretty hard to explain in a blog.. After the workshop.. People were like.. Chatting and going home.. Wtf? Me, Chris and Nicholas was like.. Cyphering there.. Everyone else would just watch and go home or something.. I mean.. C'mon.. Everyone in the room is a bboy...

Anyways.. After all that.. Stayed over at Nick's house and went Sunway the next day.. Bla bla bla.. Got myself a Puma Suede.. McD for lunch.. Bus to Kelana jaya, LRT to Kl Central.. Cyphered with Chris while waiting for the train.. Which got delayed.. Twice.. 6:05 to 6:50 to 7:30... Reached Ipoh And that was it...

Hardcore Training

I been dancing 3 days in a row.. Saturday till Sunday.. Took 1 day off.. And then 3 hours on Tuesday... Imma dance on Wednesday or Thursday.. Take 1,2 days off before heading to KL for Profo Won/Ynot's workshop this Saturday... :D

Club9 DanceOff Competition

So... Dance competition at a club on a Sunday night..

We're supposed to perform twice for a spot in the Top3 and the 2nd routine for either 1st, 2nd or 3rd placing.. We practiced for maybe.. 14 hours total.. Routines weren't that awesome(In my opinion).. We were still practicing an hour before the competition..

Anyways.. Went on with the first routine.. Crowd went wild.. Wtf.. Must've been the songs.. Riverside and Shots.. We got in the Top4.. Yes, I said 4.. There were 4 teams in the Top3.. Wtf?

And then.. Came the 2nd routine.. Not that great.. When the results were announced.. Soul Crew(Me and the guys) and someone performing solo had equal points for 1st place...

The only way to get 1st placing now.. Was to win in a battle.. The solo dude got to choose his teammates.. And then we lost the battle and got 2nd place..

I think it's kinda biased in some ways.. Judge and the dude that got 1st were both from D1 Studio.. When I heard that we had to battle.. I just knew we were gonna get 2nd already Lol! I don't really care though.. I expected us to lose in the Prelims actually.. And we got ourselves a nice little treat for getting 2nd.. ;)

1 hell of a weekend.. 9/10/10 & 10/10/10

Day 1:Train station had a problem with their computers.. So.. We had to take the 2nd Class train there.. 22 bucks.. Was gonna take Economy(12 bucks) at first.. So we left at about.. 9:15.. Reached around 12.. KL Central.. Wandered endlessly till 3pm+ waiting for Fu(member).. Oh and my lunch was 2 papayas.... Then LRT to Wangsa Maju.. Taxi to the Good Sheppard Church.. Then cypher, cypher, cypher.. Battle.. Cypher, cypher.. Then left for dinner opposite.. Then friend had problems and we couldn't stay at his place.. So we stayed the night at the church...

Day 2:Woke up about 7am... Looked for a bus to Wangsa Maju.. Had breakfast at the mamak nearby.. Met some bboys on the way.. Took LRT to Kelana Jaya.. Then bus to Sunway.. Then wandered around.. Registered for battle.. Cypher.. Then battled PEZ and lost.. Was fun though.. Haha. Then wandered around some more.. Then workshop by Bboy Mahmud.. Dope.. Then wandered again.. Then watch finals.. Then cypher abit.. On shit floor.. Then waited for bus.. Took bus to Kelana Jaya.. LRT to KL Central.. And took train back.. We almost missed the train... Awesome trip.. Spent around 80 bucks total... This is the true life of a bboy.. Haha

I learned that.. There's about 4 different types of cyphers..

1. Practice cyphers..
2. Powermove cyphers..
3. Foundational cyphers.. (Toprock, footwork only as the circle gets smaller)
4. Crew cyphers..

That's just my opinion anyways..

And I kinda learned the actual fun in a battle.. Again.. Just my opinion.. When you're in a battle.. No matter who.. Just have fun.. Don't care bout' anything else.. Because.. When you're done.. You're gonna regret not going all-out.. So.. I hope some of you beginning bboys learned a lil' something in reading this..

B-boy Workshop with Bboy Profo Won

Workshop was at KL.. 26th September.. Profo is a bboying God... His footowork will mindfuck you... And he'll always say.. "It's like Inception(movie)..", "You see.. I planted an idea in you.. :D".. And then.. He'll say.. "That's all freestyle.."

Took him damn long to come out also! Asshole! I hope you read this and cry, Lem.. Anyways.. Then we're at Polo.. Just 2,3 dudes there.. Excluding us.. Then, Furuya came over.. Then, people just kept comin'... And there's like 15,20 bboys.. And we're in a cypher yo! A proper cypher.. Raw underground and on the streets!(not literally, no..) Not in some hot, stuffy, shit studio... With 6,7 bboys that I've seen enough times dissing everyone they see.. This cypher at Polo.. It was dope.. We all just wanna dance.. That's what bboying is about yo.. Anyways.. Then they had battles.. They wanted me and Lem to judge.. And so we did.. Then I battled and injured my foot..
